Once you find the nest, pour hot, boiling water over it. This will kill all the ants, as well as destroy their home. Now it is time to take care of the problem inside.

If you do not mind using chemicals, this is the best and fasts way to get the ants out. You can find kits at home improvement or pet stores. These kits come with a sweet-tasting liquid. You place the liquid on something, such as a small card, and sit this in an area where you see most of the ants.
It won't take the ants a long time to find this liquid. Once they do, they will surround the chemical and eat it. Once they eat, the ants will quickly die. You can place these ant kits in different areas of your home, and you may need to use them for a few days until all the ants are removed.

If you still see ants in your home hire a professional insect control contractor to get the ants out for you. Because you are still getting ants, there are likely more areas where they live outside.
